I Found You

In you I found a lover
In you I have found a friend.
In you I found a companion
Never to search again.
With you I found comfort
With you I have a connection
You compliment me in the perfect measure
A completion never know
On you I see expressions
Of pleasure and delight
On you erotic sensations
I feel in the night
In you I penetrate with desire to please
In you we are connected as one
In you is closeness that once know
can't be forgotten
In you I release my fullness
and you receive it with pleasure
Our bonding is passionate
My intention is forever.
Of you I think,
My thoughts so happy
Of you I dream and
remember our sweet passion.

Synopsis:

A comprehensive celebration of finding completeness in one person. The beloved is simultaneously lover, friend, and companion; the source of comfort, connection, and completion. Through intimate physical union and constant mental presence, Scott declares their bonding passionate and his intention forever, having found the one he'll never need to search for again.

Author's Note:

This poem tries to capture the completeness I feel with Priya. She's not just my lover—she's my friend, my companion, my comfort, my connection. The anaphora (repeating "In you" and "With you") felt right because I wanted to emphasize how many different ways she completes me. From the abstract and emotional to the intensely physical, every aspect of our bonding matters. My intention is forever. I've found the one I'll never need to search for again.
